The Skidz Skulptz Desktop is a handcrafted, single-prim Desktop. It can be used with any desk you already own. Crafted for high detail, and tons of interaction.

Unpacking

Drop the Skidz Skulptz - Desktop box from your inventory onto the ground. Right click it and choose Open from the pie menu. Click the button, "Copy to Inventory." The Desktop is now in your inventory and ready to be placed.

A preload box is included. Its a good idea to drop one of these out. It will ensure better performace when changing textures and playing sounds, but is not required.

Interactions

Phone

Click the phone. It will request a pin number. Use the dialpad on the phone to dial in a pin number to hear the message.

Pin numbers:

Pin numbers can be used to access secret message on the phone. Here are all the known pin numbers:

8647, 8974, 8777, 8852, 8000, 8001, 8666, 8466, 8954, 8114, 8334

This is only mentioned in this read me (there is a secret code, first to find it wins a free product from Skidz Partz)

Clue: It starts with a number. (Will update on site if found)

Monitor

Click the monitor to play pong for 10 seconds.

Light

Click the light to toggle it on and off.

Mouse

Click the mouse to hear mouse clicking sounds.

Pencil

Click the pencil to get a pencil that you can wear behind your ear

Paper

Clicking on this will give you the Read Me document (This). You can change the content to anything you like for a handout as well.

FAQ

Q: Is there a way to see the pong animation all the time?

A: Yes, but a bit tricky. Start the pong animation, then reset the scripts. You can then remove the script if you like.

Q: If there a way to get it to display a different image on the monitor?

A: Only by adding a prim to place in front of it. But then your pong animation won't work.

Q: Why do the messages get cut off?

A: There are two reasons for this. If you touch the phone while the message is playing, it will stop. Another possibility is that the message is longer and needs more time to load.
