About the Vendors

Let's do a quick look at the functionality before I start talking about design choices. When you touch the vendor two sides of the box pop out at you, exposing two menus (see image above):

Buy Just tells you that you can right click and choose pay from the menu to buy.
Buy For a Friend Prompts you to say your friends name, if the person is found it will then let you buy the product for them. The item is sent directly to them. You can also include a custom message when it is sent.
Questions This prompts you to say a question, and sends it directly to me.

Map your friends across the globe with the World Map Buddy

You no longer need six watches to accurately track your friends' timezones! The World Map Buddy is a resizeable tool which allows you to mark off points with push pins that will display your friends' information. You will see:

Your friend's name
City and state or special message
The time it is where your friend lives
Green push pin if they are online, red if they are offline, Blue when on the same sim

Lindens 4 Bugs

Notes:

This TMat in the notice is no copy because it is a release candidate not meant for production use.
Bugs for lindens ends on Wednesday at 1AM SLT.

Rules:

Only the TMat attached to the notice is allowed to be used.
The bug must cause an issue where the only solution is to either reset its scripts or clone to a new TMat to regain full functionality.
All errors have to be reproducible. Make sure you can reproduce your bug BEFORE reporting it. See bug report form below.
The Bug Report Form must be completed IN FULL and FOR EACH (see bottom). Skidz needs all information requested.
Resizing the TMat without using Options/Save does not count!

New Web Interface for TMat

You DO NOT HAVE TO USE VIEWER 2 to take full advantage of it!

If you own a TMat already Get it here! Or get the TMat with it already installed here!

Some of it features include

Browse your items online
Much faster to view your items
It can take advantage of the new Web on prim display in viewer 2
Display details of the item including name, permissions, creator, and so much more.
Give button to send yourself selected items in world.
Switch folders on the web page
Quick Page bar (bottom) to move between pages quickly
Secure, only individuals with permissions, or you give the URL to can view it
Can be used in most popular web browsers (IE is not supported)
Use it on a second monitor

How it works

On the top bar the "Web" button toggles the Web Media Share view.

Web media share replaces the thumbnails with a web page in world using the new Media Share technology

Ten beautiful windows that open and close. Each window is only two prims, and if you remove the glass it is only one. The windows were specificaly designed not to distort at any distance or graphic card quality. Window 1 is a set developed for builders who design structures for end users or for personal use. Downloadable Photoshop PSD image file makes it super easy to chance colors and with the custom Actions included you can export all 20 textures in a matter of seconds. I also encourage you to share these textures using the TMat share box, and will send them out to the group. All windows can be linked and delinked and still function properly. Permissions granted to use on private opensims (Please read License Agreement section of the manual for more details).

The Frank Lloyd Wright Build-Off!

Skidz Partz is proud to sponsor the Frank Lloyd Wright Build-Off in Second Life happening Friday, February 5 at 6:30 p.m. SLT/PST to Sunday, February 7 to 6:00 p.m. SLT/PST.

The Build-Off is a fun competition to see who can create the most functional and appealing building within the parameters of the USONIAN ideals of Frank Lloyd Wright. Here are the guidelines for entering:

Deadline for entry is February 3 at 6:00 p.m. SLT/PST. Builders are accepted on a first come basis until all slots are filled, so apply early to ensure that you get into the competition.
Drop a notecard with your full SL name (please check your spelling) and whether you are a Pro or Novice contender (see the criteria, below) to FrankLloyd Zepp.
A 500L donation for registration goes directly to the Frank Lloyd Wright Museum of SL, paid to FrankLloyd Zepp.
Upon registering, you will receive a note acknowledging your entry and donation (thank you) and again the specifics in regards to the FLWM of SL Build-Off.

The following rules must be adhered to:

Competition opens at 6:30 p.m. SLT/PST Friday, February 5th and ends at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 7.
