I took today and yesterday off from working on the TNT Primz... Instead I started playing with OpenSim again. I was trying out a distro called Diva Distribution.

Mega sims are great. By default the sim is 512x512. That's the size of four normal sims. While they will appear to be four sims in the Second Life Client, they act as one. Crossing between them is seamless. 

Hypergrid allows you to actually TP to that sim from other grids. Not only that, but you take your look and inventory with you. It works great, but there are still some security issues with it. A new version is in the works and coming soon that will address those issues.

I got my Diva Distribution running on a Ubuntu 9.04 server with lamp and SSH installed. I then had to download and compile my own mono which is not really that hard.
